An expedition, not a package tour

Why this land feels like nowhere else

Ancient faith, the oldest wine on earth, untouched wilderness, monastery healing arts, living legend and a hospitality that won't let you go — woven into every route we drive.

Since 301 AD

Cradle of Christianity

Tatev · Noravank · Khor Virap

The world's first Christian nation

Armenia adopted Christianity as its state religion in 301 AD — the first nation on earth to do so. Monasteries like Tatev, Noravank and Khor Virap cling to cliff edges above deep gorges, their stone crosses (khachkars) over a thousand years old. Etchmiadzin is regarded as the oldest cathedral in Christendom.

Aragats — 4,090 m

Wilderness & Volcanic Land

Aragats · Jermuk · Dilijan

The dormant Aragats volcano (4,090 m) crowns the Armenian highland. Near Jermuk, natural geysers spout warm mineral water every few minutes. In between: gorges, highland lakes and the old-growth forests of Dilijan — a land that feels forgotten by time.

6,100 years old

Origin of Wine

Areni

Where wine was born 6,000 years ago

In Armenia’s Areni-1 cave, archaeologists found the oldest known winery on earth — some 6,100 years old. We taste native grapes such as Areni Noir exactly where the story of wine began more than six millennia ago.

Vahagn · Hayk · Ara

Legends & Myths

Dragon-slayers, chained titans, dying gods

Here Vahagn the dragon-slayer and fire-bringer fought his battles; here the patriarch Hayk rose against tyrants, and Ara the Beautiful died for love. Every gorge, every mountain carries its own legend.

Ancient faith

In the shadow of Ararat, the world's first Christian nation began.

Endless expanse

Gorges that run deeper than any road can follow.

Legend turned to stone

Basalt organ-pipes, carved by volcanoes over millennia.

Red rock

Monasteries hidden in gorges of red rock.

Living wilderness

Forests, lakes and passes only the 4×4 can reach.

Adventure, without the recklessness

Remote does not mean unsafe. Here is exactly how we look after you in the backcountry.
